If you are an aspiring esthetician who desires to start a career in the esthetics, Valassy Institute of Cosmetology offers a dynamic esthetics program. We offer the study of esthetics to develop the practical skills and technical knowledge to pass both written and practical examinations for an esthetician license. If you enjoy helping people and learning the science of healthy skin becoming an esthetician, our program prepares students for the professionalism needed in today's skin care work environment.

Program Description

The Valassy Institute of Cosmetology offers a program that has instructor-led classrooms PLUS clinical training as well as hands-on experience. Courses focus on theoretical and practical experience to help students learn professional skills that are vital to success. Each phase of the student's education includes a combination of learning approaches for students to become well-versed with Skin Care, Skin Analysis, Skin disorders, Skin Physiology, professional business-building skills in management and employability skills. The last phase of our program offers students the opportunity to become advanced alongside licensed instructors within a real salon environment. Students will learn the latest techniques in skin care.

Program Objectives

Our Esthetician program is designed to provide students with the necessary requirements needed to pass the Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology examination as well as prepare them for an entry level position in a salon or spa. The need for professional Estheticians to provide creative artistic, healthy and beauty solutions for the skin is growing significantly and our objective is to assure we train and educate the qualified candidates in the industry.

Program Cost

  • Clock Hours Required: 600 hrs

  • Tuition Costs: Full-time / Part-time: $7,500

  • Books and Kit Costs: $1,000

  • Registration Fee: Non-Refundable $100

  • School Shirt: $20

  • Total Program Cost $8,620

  • Weekly Tuition Payment $ 168.75.
